Our promise
The score-improvement guarantee
Do the work, and it works — or you don't pay. If you follow your study plan and your SAT Math score doesn't improve by at least 50 points, we refund every subscription payment you've made. In plain English, here's exactly how it works.
What qualifies
The guarantee applies when all of the following are true — and your dashboard tracks each one automatically, so there's no fine-print surprise:
- You took the diagnostic — that's your baseline score.
- You followed your plan — at least 80% of your scheduled daily tasks completed, across at least 8 weeks of studying.
- You took at least 2 timed practice tests in the app.
- Your score didn't improve by 50+ points — measured from your diagnostic baseline to your most recent timed test, or to an official SAT/Bluebook Math score report dated during your subscription (your choice; official scores always take precedence if you provide them).
What you get
A full refund of the subscription payments you made during the qualifying study period — issued to your original payment method within 10 business days of an approved claim.
How to claim
Email support@charliesnotebook.com from your account email within 30 days of meeting the conditions above. We'll verify your usage data (it's all in your account already) and any official score report you include, and confirm within 5 business days.
The small print, kept small
- One claim per person. The free trial (3 days) isn't refundable — it's already free.
- The clock starts at your first completed diagnostic, not at signup.
- In-app scores are estimates with a stated range; if you provide an official score report, we measure improvement official-to-official where possible.
- Refund covers subscription fees paid to us; it doesn't cover test registration fees.
